When attending college at Metropolitan State University of Denver I met my husband, Tony; who is a Pierre native. His loyalty and passion for this community influenced me to move to the Pierre/Fort Pierre Area in 2005.  I have grown extremely fond of our community. It is one of a few of its kind, with unique attributes such as our very own cowboy town and different time zone right across the Missouri River. I worked in the office of Economic Development for Fort Pierre while my husband was the Membership Director for the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce. This experience gave me the opportunity to get out and meet many individuals within our community and cemented my love and adoration for our towns. I wouldn’t want to raise my two daughters anywhere else in the world.
