Hello, I am Janel Honke, a Mortgage Loan Originator at Farmers & Merchants Branch of First National Bank in Huron, SD. I started my career in banking after graduating with a Business Degree from Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, SD in 2010. I have specialized in lending and home mortgages since 2013. I take a personal interest in my clients and tailor the programs we offer to meet their needs, while providing the highest level of professionalism. I will make sure you are informed throughout the loan process and will pay close attention to important details, all the way to the closing table! These are the qualities I believe set me apart from others in the business. While the home loan process can come with its obstacles, I will be with you the entire way to insure we navigator through the process quickly and seamlessly. My ultimate goal is to turn every client into a lifelong friend by the end of the process. I pride myself on always being available to my clients, day or night.

When I am not at work, you will find me spending time with my husband, Nick, son Maddux, daughter Ellary, and our pup, Lily. I enjoy anything that involves family, friends, boating on the Missouri, and sports. I am a sucker for a good baseball game, but always up for a quiet evening at home, too!
